UPs Progress Wave

Dear UPs, some of you have not met our deadlines and this is a bad sign. That is why this new wave was created -- to make sure of any progress made.

UPs Holiday Schedule

Hey guys, sorry for the previous posts (posting and changing) as we were experiencing some arrangement uncertainties, but that's all fixed now, as all dates and starting times are final. This means that there will be no more abrupt changes and confusion.

• June 10, 2010 & June 11, 2010: 10 am to 4 pm @ Bishan Library
• Be at the entrance by 9.45 am to prevent others going in first. Once the doors are open, rush up to get "better" spots. Only for genuine reasons may you come late/leave early. Breaks will be given at appropriate times.
• Tasks to be completed by the end of these 2 days: Report, Presentation, Poster, Voting Box (+more if possible)

• Monday, May 7 - 10 AM - 4 PM; Meet at 9.45 AM to block the entrance
• Wednesday. May 9 - 10 AM - 4 PM; Meet at 9.45 AM to block the entrance

Reflection 10...

Hmm... still sad about the sports day. Cant seem to think of what to write about... The reason that im sad is not because it was raining therefore sports day cancelled. In fact, there are two reasons...
No.1: I didn't get enough of that those free bread!!! My friend took like 6-7 and put all in his bag... noooo. Never mind, lets talk about the next one. No.2: my friend poke a hole in my free bottle cap and started pouring the water at me!!! Of course, it wasn't the end of the story but lets not talk about it here, theres much more to it...'secret'

Lets get back on to topic. IPW lesson. Right...blogshop. I added some pictures into the blogshop and filled in some words to it the about UPs page. Anyone kind enough to suggest any more data i can put in so that it doesn't look so empty. Nothing else seems to be able to come out of my brain. Please can anyone just give me some data? Hmm.. lets talk about the other 2 groups... i mean the t-shirt and powerpoint. T-shirt seems to be really a huge problems. I know i am not in the position to comment anything but i just feel like maybe asking some questions. I heard that there might be a chance that they might want to change t-shirt company because the guy said that we have too many designs and might have many problems on pricing and datelines etc.
If t-shirt company's problem can be solved, everything should go smoothly as planned. Except that now we changed the dates of selling t-shirts to somewhere after SA1 i think. Ok... dont talk about it anymore, later someone come and kill me!!!.... Jumping to powerpoints. Seems to be the group with the least problems in fact nearly none... i think. Is the powerpoint group the biggest?
Should be... Another question from me is : who is going to come up with the like sum for the t-shirts( i mean sample ones) because it seems that i dont know that...

Anyway when the other day when those who went kratos were in school and saw those tkd boys, i was supposed to be there, then i lazy... Nvm, end of reflection... BYE

Reflective Journal 12

Hey, sorry for the late reflection, but anyway let's get this done!

This week, Anthony wasn't there for us in our time of need for the GRACE Lesson,but that didn't make much of a difference since we can't do anything right now. Miss Lim immediately asked for the task of the day after we greeted her. It was to create a prototype of the product, which we obviously cannot do since Ryan still hasn't replied and we've yet to discuss with the other printing companies. (That won't be such a big problem since Agent Miss Lim is on the job.) We are saving that task for later!

We then went into our three groups to complete of tasks at hand. Wei Hao and I worked on the slides (with Adrian pestering us to watch the videos, of course). Benedict and Yen Wee continued on their imperfect blogshop which Benedict got messed up. Can you believe it? He put the SPCA's objectives as our objectives. So Miss Lim reminded him once AGAIN that he could access this information form the email to SPCA. He, of course, AGAIN said that he had not received it, so I had to send it to him AGAIN. By the way, Benedict said that he was not good at IT stuff and Miss Lim added on by saying, "No, I think it's all your administrative skills." :) (No offense of anything, Benedict.) Aaron was busy sending emails to the printing company while Zhi Yu observed Miss Lim's actions and read her notebook.

Miss Lim told us that there was nothing much we could do, but just sit and wait until we receive any piece of news from Ryan or the printing companies. Then it occurred to me, I might have forgot about something very important -- We had not informed Selina Sebastian to not come on Wednesday since we were very much behind. We will have to postpone everything and rush to the end. However, Miss Lim said one thing that I really enjoyed listening to -- "Don't make Selina bring a dog on Wednesday to school for nothing." That would be a really funny sight.

As usual, just as everything was starting to get sorted out, the bell rang! It's not like it's the first time of anything but why? Never mind, I guess it's because time is simply too precious :) Like this, it's not the first time we've not had a GRACE Lesson in a particular week. We won't be having a GRACE Lesson next week since Day 7 will be replaced by the Day 10 time table. At least that gives us more time to prepare for the Show and Tell. I'm really lookin' forward to the next GRACE Lesson that I think is pretty far away.I would think that our group would be one of the last ones to "Show & Tell" since we really need the extra time.
