Reflective Journal - Lesson 1

The First lesson of GRACE started , well , alot better than what i thought it would be.

It wasn't so smooth at the start , everything was messy and everyone did not know what to do . Well , that was because we did not download and read about the Grace lessons beforehand ( Me included !;D) , but things changed for the better . :)

The lesson started off with Admistrative stuff (Boring:D)
Example ,
-Choosing of Group name
-Group Motto
-Assigning of roles . etc

For the Group Name , We took a little too much time deciding on it . But eventually , Yen Wee suggested " Perfectionists" . Then Gavin , Wei Hao , Ms Lim and I were like :"Oh it sounds good " and so our group name . I think He chose this Group Name because he wants us to be motivated and live up the group name "Perfectionists".
Then The Group motto , was , of course suggested by Yen Wee again D; . Next , the roles . Ah , Ms Lim :" Who Is the leader of your group? " Everyone points at Gavin :D. Moving on . When we were writing down why we were important to the group , i noticed that everyone has their own virtues. And that we should always look at people's pros and not their cons.

The things i learnt ? I learnt that when you do projects/work you The key thing is communication . If you lack in that area , half the battle would be lost and vice-versa. Projects are monotonous? Not anymore ! I learnt through GRACE that classes can be fun and projects can , in a way be interesting .

Things i Like/Dislike about GRACE based on first lesson. What i liked : I liked the way how GRACE is different from boring , old-fashioned ways of teaching and is teaching the 21st century way. I also liked the participation and the different view points of different members about different topics . What i Dont like about GRACE : I think that GRACE is too short , My group was discussing halfway about what topic to choose and the bell just rang . Surely 35mins isn;t enough.

To Sum it all up , i really enjoyed myself during the lesson whereby i can voice out my opinions and viewpoints and not just hide in one corner . Therefore , i will be really looking forward to the next lesson!
