REFLECTION TIME

Well, anyways. Today was kind of a busy day, what with school ending about 1:20 pm after early CNY celebrations, and the concert... Oh. You want me to reflect on the GRACE lesson. Gah.

Well, the GRACE lesson was hot. Literally. Ms Lim forgot to bring the key to the Maths Homeroom, causing a disruption in our... err... friendship with the room. So, we went outside the Shaw Hall area and had our GRACE lesson there.

So now. The most important part...

EPIC CLIMAX --> STOCK TAKING

-> What have we done so far?
Wait, you asking me? Ooh. Here it is...

1st week of school -- Stayed back, got a brief briefing (do NOT excuse the pun (if there ever was any) ) about GRACE.

2nd week of school -- *flashback* I think we did some simple-dimple admin stuff. We chose a group name, got a group motto and the 'What I'm good at' section thingy. Thing.

3rd week of school -- *still in flashback* Tried to attempt to bother to try to think of a topic. Well, SPCA is still better than Global Warming and those type of nonsense. I mean, Global Warming? Global Warming RESEARCH, more like. *cough*

4th week of school -- *yes, still in flashback* Who? Why? When? Where? How? Well... What do these have in common? *think....* Yes. They are all words. Anyways, we asked our guiding questions this week, and got a rough idea of what we should and would be focusing on.

5th week of school -- *flashback mode not yet interrupted* Because... *choke* We answered our guiding questions, and elaborated further on our questions.

6th week of school -- Role assignment!! And also assigned to write this. Do I have to copy this again?

There. Answered. *end flashback*

What do we want to do next?

23/02/2010 (Tuesday): Every member is to submit at least ONE t-shirt design(preferably 2) during the GRACE lesson.
01/03/2010 (Monday): Common Test. No GRACE lesson.
08/03/2010 (Monday): We will all make a trip down to SPCA after school. Students are to meet up with Selina Sebastian (Education Executive of SPCA) and present to her your t-shirt designs.
09/03/2010 (Tuesday): Work allocation.
March Holidays: Sourcing for printing companies. Setting up of Blogshop.
Term 2 Week 1: Discussion. Printing of T-shirts.
Term 2 Week 2: Photography Session.
Term 2 Week 3: Blogshop.
Term 2 Week 4: Announcement during morning assembly. SPCA talk during Hall assembly. T-shirt booth. Ordering and printing of t-shirts.
Term 2 Week 5: Distribution of t-shirts to students/teachers who have made their purchases.

What have we learnt?

Who, me? Nothing. Seriously. Nah. Joking.

Well, first of all, this entrepreneur thingy. We get exposed to selling stuff, and how difficult it is to just sell shirts. Yes, it's tough. Like the tough club.

Secondly... Collaboration. Well, remember the merger of two groups? (refer to the Unstoppable-Perfectionist treaty, also known as the 'Who Cares?' treaty) Well, we learn how teamwork actually works. And stuff.

Thirdly... Research. [Notice how this is actually one of the goals of GRACE, as is collaboration] Yes, I actually learnt how to research better, and make research faster and easier. Hooray.
